Invented the seat belt, which automatically detaches in water

Seat belt saves life generally, but (a few cases), when the car hits the water, it can be fatal, as it makes it difficult to solve at the moment when every second counts. Dutch company Fijen TMLS thus developed clip for belt, which automatically pulls down in the water.

Mechanism in the buckle works in a similar principle as a mechanism of the self-inflating life jacket. Only that the cylinder with compressed air in this case, nothing inflates, but during the opening creates a pressure on the pin that pulls down the safety pin.

The buckle is designed to be opened only in case of immersion. Fears that could be triggered by the case of contact with liquid, according to the manufacturer's redundant.

Since it is available as an accessory, it will be installed in most existing vehicles, and its price is estimated at less than 40 euros.
